Our Contracts and What Happens Then
Should you wish to go ahead with a quotation, we will ask you to sign a contract with a 10% deposit (covered by an insurance backed guarantee - please click on this link to the CPA website for further information). Our terms and conditions comply with both the FENSA and the Glass and Glazing Federation guidelines and have been approved by Trading Standards. They are printed on the reverse of the customer-retained section of our contracts and are available to download by clicking here.
We then send Simon Blundell, our surveyor, on site to complete the survey. Up until the point the survey has been completed, changes can be made, but once you've agreed final details, the windows, conservatory or doors will be put into manufacture and any further changes will then have to be charged for.
We try to give as much information as possible as regards who is going to come to your property and when, and to give approximate installation dates at the time the contract is confirmed, so that you have some indication from the outset as to when the work will be done. Of course a lot of what we do is outside, and so we are often dependent on our (sometimes unpredictable) weather. We do experience some delays occasionally and may occasionally need to ask for your understanding and patience.
And then it's down to the installation or build, and the best thing we can say about how we do things is to refer you to the results of the customer survey we completed in late 2008 - it speaks for itself!
